Robert Marcellino is endlessly inspired by New England’s native beauty, having lived most of his life along the Massachusetts Coast. He has watched it all, from the way the natural light plays off the ocean, marshes and dunes, to the bright hues, forms, and the textures in his very own English garden. Changing seasons and times of day are age-old wonders for the landscape painter, and every moment of day in his region is subtly – or radically – different from every other.

Further inspiration comes from the entirely different landscapes he observed in his travels. What his eyes take in, both at home and further afield, kindles an enduring passion to recreate the mood, light and color that he discover s in the varied beauty of our world.

His paintings are unapologetically romantic, springing, as they do, from the ongoing joy of his explorations of the landscapes in which we live.

New England Art Reach offers a service to hospitals to have rotating art work from New England artists on display. This wonderful opportunity supports local artists and adds beauty for all to experience while walking along the hallways and public areas.

Typical rotations are every three to six months. All art work is for sale and Art Reach handles all transactions between buyers and the artists. 20% of all sales go back to the hospital. Fees for these services are contingent upon the size of the venue and the number of rotations.
