Linda Lea Bertrand is a Marblehead artist from Saugus, MA. Educated as a nurse practitioner, she practiced in ICUs, taught in college, developed disease management programs, participated in research and trained the next generation of doctors and nurses before retiring from healthcare. The contemplative aspect of painting helped her deal with the stress of her life in healthcare. Her work invites the viewer to step into a painting to share a moment of peace within their busy life.

Linda Lea is primarily a self-taught artist. Since retiring four years ago, she has been actively exhibiting paintings in several solo and group exhibits, including a portrait displayed in the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, in 2022. She has taught painting classes, given painting demonstrations and curated art exhibits.

She is a member of the following Art Associations: Marblehead Arts Association, Marblehead, MA, North Shore Art Association, Gloucester, Ma, Rockport Art Association and Museum, Rockport MA, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, Laguna Beach, CA , The Portrait Society of America, Tallahassee, FL You can see other collections of work on her website: www.lindaleapainting.com

New England Art Reach offers a service to hospitals to have rotating art work from New England artists on display. This wonderful opportunity supports local artists and adds beauty for all to experience while walking along the hallways and public areas.

Typical rotations are every three to six months. All art work is for sale and Art Reach handles all transactions between buyers and the artists. 20% of all sales go back to the hospital. Fees for these services are contingent upon the size of the venue and the number of rotations.
