Laura Tyers is a resident of Wilton NH. As a young child, Laura was fascinated with color and form and this is what started her interested in art, specifically painting. Throughout her educational years, art always remained her focus. In the years that followed, her love for art and creation took a back seat to family and work. For 35 years Laura’s passion for art and creation was dormant.
Now in the second half of her life, Laura feels fortunate to have the time to fulfill her creative passion, by devoting a few hours each week to paint. Laura loves to explore the color and texture of nature and has focused on oil painting. She finds joy in painting the world around her, whether it be landscapes, florals, pet portraits or people involved in everyday activities.
You can find Laura busy at her studio in downtown Wilton where she shares space with an artist friend. Although they have no formal training, they like to collaborate and continue to push each other to go beyond their artistic comfort level.

New England Art Reach offers a service to hospitals to have rotating art work from New England artists on display. This wonderful opportunity supports local artists and adds beauty for all to experience while walking along the hallways and public areas.
Typical rotations are every three to six months. All art work is for sale and Art Reach handles all transactions between buyers and the artists. 20% of all sales go back to the hospital. Fees for these services are contingent upon the size of the venue and the number of rotations.
