Ron Evelyn

In 1974, Ron graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Art and Photography. Soon after graduation, he started teaching art and photography while completing his Master’s in Education at Antioch University. Ron has taught for 15 years, then ran a successful photography studio focusing mainly on advertising product photography for catalogs and weekly sales circulars for department stores and supermarkets.

From oil paintings in the Masters’ style to product and scenic photography, Ron’s love for beauty led him to ultimately capture nature with his lens and present it so that others can share in the experience. Creating beautiful images for more than four decades, Ron specializes in the art of landscape photography, capturing the distinctive moments of light and color that highlight the wonder of our world. He seeks out places that are the most unique and picturesque. This quest has resulted in a portfolio that is truly visionary.
From glorious to delicate images, capturing the natural splendor of God’s creation involves much persistence. Sometimes, patiently waiting for hours, days or months for the right light is necessary to express the wonder of nature.

Photographs are printed on Fuji Crystal Archival paper to ensure lifetime beauty, mounted on double or triple mat-board hand-signed and numbered by the artist for limited edition. Other mediums such as metal, canvas and acrylic are also available.
